2-Way Communications, Incorporated, was founded in 1954 by Henry B. Bartlett and Leon A. Richardson. The business was operated out of two locations, one in Gilford, NH and the other in Somersworth, NH.
In August 1954, 2-Way Communications became an authorized Motorola Service Station (MSS).
Many of the first two-way radios ever used for Business and Public Safety communications in New England were installed and serviced by 2-Way.
